AppWorld 2024: Redefining App Security and Delivery through Storytelling and Design
AppWorld, a multi-day conference previously known as Agility, is a cornerstone event dedicated to advancing discussions surrounding app security and delivery. As a designer for this event, I focused on creating visually compelling and impactful keynote presentations that highlighted F5’s mission to simplify the complexities of securing apps and APIs while bringing a human perspective to the digital landscape. Through compelling scripts, engaging keynotes, and heartfelt video production, our team helped support F5’s vision leading up to and during the event—our on-site support ensured seamless execution throughout the conference week, contributing to the overall success of AppWorld.

Keynote Design: Designed compelling keynote presentations using PowerPoint, showcasing F5’s leadership in simplifying app and API security.
Stage Graphics Production: Collaborated with Creative Director Joel Ertsgaard and Digital Media Manager Jeff Aldridge to produce dynamic stage graphics for the closing ceremony performance, utilizing Adobe AfterEffects and Premiere Pro.
Collaboration: Conducted weekly review meetings with F5 executives to refine presentation visuals and align them with the event’s strategic goals.

Adobe Document Cloud: Showcasing AI in the Workplace
For Adobe’s Document Cloud team, I designed pitch deck presentations that demonstrated innovative ways AI could transform workplace productivity and workflows. This work effectively communicated Adobe’s vision for AI in the workplace, helping inspire and engage key stakeholders.

Microsoft Commercial Solution Areas: Internal Visual Identity Development
Collaborating with Microsoft’s Commercial Solution Areas, I helped design and develop distinct visual identities for 10 specialized groups, ensuring each identity aligned with Microsoft’s overarching brand while highlighting the unique focus of each group. This project equipped CSA teams with professional, versatile tools for communication and engagement, enhancing both internal collaboration and external communications.

Custom Branding: Designed unique logos for each group to establish clear, recognizable visual identities.
Comprehensive Asset Suite: Delivered a cohesive set of materials, including PowerPoint templates with curated photos, Outlook email templates, web banners, virtual backgrounds, and animated video bumpers using Adobe AfterEffects.
Brand Consistency: Ensured all assets adhered to Microsoft’s brand guidelines while emphasizing the individuality of each group within the Commercial Solution Areas.

McKinstry Wild West Winterfest
McKinstry hosted their annual holiday celebration on their Seattle campus for more than 1,200 guests. Building on the success of previous years, the event evolved into McKinstry Wild West Winterfest, blending a playful western theme with a large-scale, family-friendly winter celebration.
Key Contributions
Wayfinding: Designed a Wild West–themed Winterfest wayfinding system with the guest journey in mind, transforming the office environment into an easy-to-navigate, fully immersive experience. Created custom Western-shaped door signs, tabletop and easel signage, and event maps (print and digital).

Bellevue Arts Fair
The Bellevue Arts Fair is one of the most attended public art fairs in Washington state. In this milestone year, the Bellevue Arts Fair presented by the Bellevue Arts Museum partnered with the Bellevue Downtown Arts Market, creating the largest combined footprint in the event’s history. The 50-foot wall wrap highlighted the significant Artists and Figures through the Art Fair’s history.

Exhibit Design: Supported the curation and designed around each artifact to celebrate and tell the story of the Arts Fair.

PROVAIL: Powering Inclusion Gala
PROVAIL’s annual gala serves as both a fundraising event and a platform to deepen understanding of the organization’s mission. Supporting individuals with disabilities across multiple programs, the event required a thoughtful media approach that balanced accessibility, education, and emotional storytelling for a diverse audience.

Event Materials: Set inside Victory Hall, the event identity drew inspiration from the spirit of baseball—nostalgic, communal, and celebratory. I carried this theme across every touchpoint, designing the event identity and style guide, invitation, program, and screen graphics to feel cohesive and intentional. The result was an experience that felt immersive and welcoming, helping guests easily engage with PROVAIL’s story throughout the evening.

Condon Johnson's 50th Anniversary
Condon Johnson, a heavy civil engineering company, partnered with us to celebrate their 50th Anniversary with a special event for employees and their families. As a family-owned and operated business with offices across the West Coast and Alaska, the celebration honored both their people and legacy.
Key Contributions
Large-Scale Design: The installation included a large-scale timeline, framed with truss and flanked by company machinery, guiding guests through Condon Johnson’s 50-year history. Each region had a set of printed boards highlighting milestone projects, giving guests a clear, tangible view of the company’s achievements across locations.
